The other group worships as part of a religion that began in another country. Sometimes traditions of one group offend the other When a terrible storm hits one side of the island, those residents are sure that it was caused because of the disgusting worship of the other group. They decide that the only way to be safe is to clean their island of anyone who practices the opposing religion. Using machetes and guns, they slaughter members of the other group. No one is left alive, even old people or children.
