When celebrities are idolized just because they play heroes in movies and on television, they can end up overshadowing real heroes. They may get our attention, but they don't do much to change the world. This leaves young people with heroes who have little substance. __ Dr. Stuart Fischoff of the American Psychological Association says it's idolize those who have fame and fortune. "We are sociologically preprogrammed to 'follow the leader,"he says. However, if young people choose to idolize a celebrity who indulges in risky behavior, then they might be inspired to do the same. __ So the media needs to focus on real heroes. Many can be found in history. Examples include Martin Luther King Jr, Eleanor Roosevelt,Gandhi, and Abraham Lincoln. There are also many everyday men and women who have acted heroically. Even though they have flaws as all humans do, their courage can inspire others. These people will still be heroes long after some celebrities are no longer remembered. ## Step 1
The problem presents an argument that celebrities, who are idolized for their roles in movies and television, can overshadow real-life heroes. The argument also suggests that these celebrities often lack substance and do not contribute significantly to societal change.

## Step 2
The argument is further supported by Dr. Stuart Fischoff's statement, which suggests that people are naturally inclined to follow leaders. This inclination can lead to young people idolizing celebrities who engage in risky behaviors, which can inspire them to do the same.

## Step 3
The argument is then countered by suggesting that the media should focus on real-life heroes, such as historical figures like Martin Luther King Jr., Eleanor Roosevelt, Gandhi, and Abraham Lincoln. These individuals are considered heroes because of their courage and actions, despite their flaws.

## Step 4
The argument is further supported by the claim that these real-life heroes will continue to inspire others long after the celebrities they are compared to are forgotten.
